“We just want to produce a woodworking event that we would want to attend”

Evan Dunstone,
co-organiser with John Madden of Wood Dust Australia

Hang in there! We know that you are hungry for details and it’s killing us not to be able to share more at this stage, but Wood Dust — The Australian International Timber and Woodworking Festival is an authentically new woodworking event and we are busy fine tuning it.

Here is what we can tell you:

  • Wood Dust will have tools and workbenches never seen before in Australia
  • The Australian Wood Review Studio Furniture 2018 exhibition at the Bungendore Woodworks Gallery will commence 20th October
  • Special guest Tom Lie Nielsen will be travelling from Maine, USA to attend Wood Dust
  • We have some truly amazing international and local craftspeople lined up to teach Master Classes at the Dunstone Design Workshop (but dammit, we can’t give you details yet until the line-up is locked in!)
  • Authentic barbeque fare and craft beer will be on the menu

Further updates and a full program of events will be available soon. In the meantime, talk to your friends and your clubs – share this post, lock in the dates and start saving your pennies. Dream about the event at night, and send us your suggestions.

We look forward to seeing you at the festival
